Current Information:Age-25 Born-Alperton 25 Milton Road, Acton Spoilbank Cemetery, Belgium In the latter half of October, 1915 12th Royal Fusiliers of 73 Brigade, 24th Division were at Hubertushoek near Ypres undergoing training. On 23rd October a party of over 100 officers and men went into the trenches for trench warfare instruction during which, Private Francis was killed by a stray bullet. |
